Status
Epistemic is the working title for a stealth AI-adjacent venture. This page establishes the problem space and potential markets without disclosing the methodology, internal research, or product architecture. It does not claim a finished product or validated results.
The purpose
The venture is developing systems intended to bring greater certainty to applications where completeness, accountability, and accuracy matter most. In these settings, a plausible answer is not enough: people need to understand what information was considered, what remains uncertain, and where responsibility for the decision sits.
Potential vertical markets
Potential vertical markets include pharmaceuticals, finance, law, and defense—fields where incomplete evidence, weak provenance, or unexamined assumptions can have material consequences.
A possible source layer
BNOW.NET is a separate, source-grounded application for working with fast-moving public information. It may become a data source for future Epistemic analysis and provides a concrete defense-oriented example. The two systems are not presented as integrated today.
What remains private
The methodology, representations, architecture, internal evaluations, and related research remain private while the work develops. Public descriptions will stay at the level needed to explain the opportunity and the standards the system is meant to meet.
